West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster has been ruled out for up to 12 weeks with a foot injury.
The 30-year-old has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right foot after being forced off during last weekend's goalless draw with Everton in the Premier League.
"There's no hiding the fact this is disappointing news as Ben is a key player for us," manager Steve Clarke told the club's official website. "He was excellent on Saturday before his injury forced him off."
Welsh international Boaz Myhill is expected to deputise for Foster during his spell on the sidelines.
