West Bromwich Albion keeper Ben Foster has stressed the importance of his side stopping their run of four straight defeats in the Premier League with a goalless draw against Hull City.
The Baggies could have taken all three points from the KC Stadium, but Graham Dorrans saw his penalty saved by Allan McGregor after Victor Anichebe was fouled in the area.
Foster still believes that the result was a good one for his side, and feels that they can kick on over the busy festive period.
He told the club's official website: "We will take confidence from our battling performance and the clean sheet at Hull. Coming off the back of four straight defeats we needed to draw a line under it all and we did that.
"It is a fresh start from here, almost as if the season begins now. Villa at home next week is a massive game, and QPR away the following weekend is also really important for us. We have a massive Christmas coming up."
Alan Irvine's side are 16th in the Premier League, just one point clear of the relegation zone.
