West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Irvine has said that he would be happy to sit down and talk to record signing Brown Ideye after dropping him for the game at Leicester City.
The striker has scored just one goal since his £10m move from Dynamo Kiev and wasn't included in the matchday squad for the win at Leicester, with both Victor Anichebe and Georgios Samaras preferred.
Irvine told reporters: "The way that we do it is I say to a player 'if you want to come in on Monday, come in on Monday'. But when the team's named and the subs are named they have to accept that, respect the rest of the players and then come back in later if they want to have a chat.
"I might have a chat with him if he feels he needs to have a chat, but if he doesn't then I won't be calling him in."
West Brom play Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday.
