Alan Irvine was reluctant to discuss the future of Saido Berahino following West Bromwich Albion's 1-0 Premier League victory over Aston Villa on Saturday.
Reports have claimed that the Baggies' seven-goal top scorer has stalled on a new contract amid apparent interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Berahino was left on the bench for the second match in succession, but Irvine claims that he is unaware of any problems between the striker and the club's hierarchy.
"I'm not aware of it," Irvine told reporters. "I don't know about his contract, I don't get involved in that. That's for other people."
Craig Gardner scored the winner against his former club at The Hawthorn to secure Albion a first win in six games and West Midlands bragging rights.
