West Bromwich Albion midfielder James McClean admits that he has been elated with the level of his displays in the Premier League since his move to the club.

West Bromwich Albion midfielder James McClean has revealed that he has been delighted with his form since his move to the club in the summer.

The Republic of Ireland winger completed a switch from Wigan Athletic to The Hawthorns to avoid playing in the third tier with the Latics, and has impressed for Tony Pulis's men in the top flight.

However, McClean has set his sights on adding goals to his fine displays for the Baggies this season.

He told the club's official website: "I have managed to get a couple of assists but unfortunately I haven't been able to grab my first goal yet. I would obviously like to add goals to my game, every footballer wants to score goals. I'm delighted with how I am playing at the moment.

"If I am being honest I didn't have the best of starts and I was really disappointed with my debut when I was pulled off at half-time against Manchester City.

"I think I have gone from strength-to-strength since then and hopefully I am repaying the faith the manager has shown in me by playing me every week."

West Brom face West Ham United in their Premier League clash later today.
