Gareth McAuley has slammed referee Jonathan Moss for failing to notice Ashley Williams allegedly handling the ball in the area during West Bromwich Albion's 2-1 defeat to Swansea City.
Centre-half Williams appeared to make contact with the ball as he jumped with his arm raised as McAuley headed a Nicky Shorey cross.
"We ended up losing a game 2-1 where we had a few cleared off the line and a blatant handball for which the ref has given three different excuses," McAuley said. "The first thing the referee said was that it was a poor header — well, he said another word.
"The next thing he said was 'I didn't see the handball'. And the third thing was 'it was too close to the player to do anything'. So you work out what happened there.
"I thought it was going in but the next thing it is going wide and it has come off a hand. Decisions like that change games."
West Bromwich Albion are currently 15th in the Premier League with 26 points from 24 games.
