West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie has insisted that he still wants to represent Nigeria in upcoming international fixtures.
His national team boss Stephen Keshi had suggested that the 31-year-old had made himself unavailable for his country, but Odemwingie has quelled such claims.
"If the coach decides to call me, I am still available to play for my country. When I decide that I want to stop playing, I will come out and say so myself," he told the Wolverhampton Express and Star.
The striker has 54 international caps to his name.
