Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has revealed that defender Fabricio Coloccini could face a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury during his side's 1-0 loss to West Bromwich Albion.
The Magpies manager confirmed that the Argentine could be out for between four and six weeks after suffering suspected medial ligament damage.
Newcastle also lost fellow defender Mathieu Debuchy to a red card during the game, meaning that he faces a future suspension.
"Not only do we lose Mathieu Debuchy [suspended after a red card] but Colo also looks to have done something to his knee," Sky Sports News quotes Pardew as saying. "It could be four to six weeks."
Saido Berahino scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot to secure maximum points for the Baggies.
