West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has praised his players for earning a goalless draw in their Premier League match against Everton this evening.
The Baggies produced a resolute defensive performance to come away from Goodison Park with a point, as they extended their unbeaten run since Pulis took over at the start of the year.
"The players worked so hard off the ball but on the change over we have to improve that," he told Sky Sports News. "You can't keep giving the ball back because teams will punish you. We have to retain the ball and get our passes off.
"They worked really hard. When you get results that is the most important thing. The spirit and the commitment of the players, the way they got back into shape was very good, but we have to get passes off so we can cause the opposition problems."
West Brom have now moved up to 14th in the league table, three points clear of the relegation zone.
