Former West Bromwich Albion defender Steven Reid has revealed his pride at being a part of an "incredible journey" during his four years at The Hawthorns.
Reid made 88 appearances over a four-year spell with the Baggies before he was released earlier this month, but the former Republic of Ireland international has admitted that he enjoyed his time in the West Midlands.
The 33-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "The club previously had the tag of being a yo-yo club – up and down and never surviving in the Premier League.
"So it's been great just to be a part of the whole four years and, aside from last season, being part of a side which has been in the middle of the table.
"It was disappointing last season but we've become a solid Premier League outfit. To see the club grow over the last four years has been an incredible journey."
Reid has yet to make a decision on his future, as he contemplates whether to continue his playing career or move into full-time coaching.
