Ralf Rangnick was the most popular choice in a poll conducted by the Birmingham Mail, which asked West Bromwich Albion fans who they wanted as their club's next manager.
The 55-year-old former Schalke 04 boss, who is currently the sporting director at both Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig, took 23% of the votes.
He was narrowly followed by Molde's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with 22% of participants wanting the former Manchester United striker to replace Steve Clarke, who was sacked on Saturday.
