New West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has reportedly made former Chelsea striker Demba Ba one of his major transfer targets.
The 29-year-old departed the Premier League during the summer for Turkish outfit Besiktas and has since gone on to score 16 goals in 20 outings.
According to The People, that form has alerted Baggies boss Pulis, who admitted yesterday that he needed to bolster his attacking options during this month's window.
It is believed that Besiktas would be reluctant to part with the Senegalese frontman, although a bid in the region of £5m could tempt them into doing business.
Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp is also said to be interested, but it is unlikely that the West Londoners could afford both the fee and Ba's wage demands.
