West Bromwich Albion have signed Dynamo Kiev full-back Goran Popov on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal.
Baggies boss Steve Clarke had been open about his wish to add one more defender to his squad after bolstering his attacking options earlier in the transfer window.
Clarke reportedly moved for Popov after missing out on Costa Rican Bryan Oviedo, who joined Everton earlier this evening.
The 27-year-old has become Albion's sixth signing of the campaign after being granted a work permit and passing a medical.
