West Bromwich Albion manager Pepe Mel has claimed that Ben Foster deserves to be England's number one.
The goalkeeper recently credited his Spanish boss with restoring his confidence, and the former Real Betis coach believes that his stopper should be heading to the World Cup.
"Ben Foster for me is the best goalkeeper in England," Mel told reporters.
"For sure, he's good with the ball, and that's important for me, and when the other team press the ball, it's no problem for Ben.
"The goalkeeper at Manchester City (Joe Hart) is a good keeper but for me, Ben is the best, yes."
The Baggies are currently 16th in the Premier League.
