Swansea City hosted West Ham United in the Premier League but were held to a goalless draw by a battling Hammers side.
It was the visitors who had the better of the opening half, with Guy Demel in particular a danger from set pieces, but the sides went in goalless.
Swansea continued with their possession game after the break but were unable to get past Jussi Jaaskelainen and had to settle for a point.
Read how the action unfolded below.
Thanks for joining me tonight and please do remain on site to check the latest results and reaction. There will also be analysis from the three Premier League games in around half an hour. Goodbye.
Some boos ring out around the Liberty Stadium, but in fairness a draw is probably the fair result. Both sides did have chances - Swansea more in the second half and West Ham the better ones before the break, but neither keeper could be beaten today.
Michu finds Dyer as Swansea break. They remain patient until Dyer goes through the gears and then crosses, but it comes off Joe Cole for a corner. His arm was slightly up then as it hit it, but it might have been a harsh penalty.
CHANCE: Late half-chance for Cole from a ball lumped into the box. He did well to get there initially but was too far out to really test Vorm, who hangs on.
I can't see a winner as we move into stoppage time, but then you just never know do you? It looks most likely to be Swansea if any team, as Reid is fouled to relieve some pressure. There will be four minutes added on.
BOOKING: Joe Cole goes into the book as he takes down Britton with a sliding lunge. On the up side for West Ham, it stopped a dangerous looking Swansea move. Corner here for the hosts on the right...
Good goalkeeping from Jaaskelainen, who saves at the feet of Michu but the flag was up. I'm not so sure as the Spaniard looked to get on to Taylor's pass - it looked very close.
Risky pass from Rangel there, who looks to clip to Michu but hits Cole instead but the sub concedes a handball. The hosts come again, but Bony miscontrols after Michu's driving run. Chico is on the floor holding his face, but is quickly up again - the big man Cole did swing his arm, but it didn't look malicious.
Fantastic from Hernandez on the right, who jinks past Jarvis and Rat and gets a cross to the back post, but Demel beats Michu to it and heads behind. Swansea are really starting to ramp up the pressure as Chico shoots but it's turned behind by the Finnish keeper.
WEST HAM SUB: The other Cole, Joe, comes on for West Ham with Morrison replaced. He has been quite quiet the youngster and this seems a sensible change.
Tomkins is fortunate not to go into the book for going through the back of Bony. He is much more of a physical threat than Alvaro, but even so isn't having a great deal of joy. At the other end Cole is flagged for offside as West Ham countered.
Allardyce's team have done really well tonight to counter the threat of Swansea's attack. They go direct from a throw and Cole heads to the back post for Jarvis, but his header goes over under pressure from Rangel.
SAVE: Fantastic effort from Bony, who shoots from the corner of the six-yard box and Jaaskelainen reacts really quickly to push it away to his left. He really is an excellent shot-stopper.
Britton finds Dyer, who drives into the box and then cuts inside, but as he looked for Michu Rat comes across really well to win the ball and put it out for a corner. Nothing comes from it and West Ham survive without much issue.
SWANSEA SUB: Another change and it's Wilfried Bony coming on for Alvaro. Different type of attacking threat now from Laudrup's team, although the ball has been in their half for a while now.
BOOKING: Rangel goes into the book for clattering through the back of Jarvis. There was a meaty tackle from Rat on Michu before, but Rangel's was from behind.
WEST HAM SUB: Chico is furious at the referee for some reason after fouling Diame - no reason to be it was a clear foul. It was Diame's last action as he comes off for Carlton Cole - West Ham to go direct now?
SWANSEA SUB: Pablo Hernandez, who has been absent for a while, comes on for Routledge. This could be just the spark they need.
The pace has slowed down in the last few minutes, with both sides trying to work out how they can get on top. There haven't been as many chances as there had been at this point in the first half, which is good news for Swansea who have tightened up.
West Ham are passing better than Swansea at the moment, although there's danger as Dyer crosses really well for Alvaro, but Timkins is there to beat the Spaniard to the ball.
West Ham continue to threaten on the break. Downing controls it brilliantly on the edge of his area and finds Morrison, who turns and looks for Rat the other side. However the move breaks down as Swansea are back quickly to close the space.
Swansea want a penalty as Alvaro goes down into the box under pressure from Rat. There's no reason to give a penalty there are the two players were just jostling for position.
The players are coming back out for the second half. I think it's still just the one change - Jarvis for Vaz Te in the first half.
Downing started the half very brightly, but faded somewhat as the time went on. He had a couple of early chances cutting in, but Vorm was equal to him. Also Demel won a couple of headers from corners, with one n particular he headed over from only six yards.
Arguably, however, the best chance of the game fell to Chico from a corner. He powered a header at goal and it it was either side of Jaaskelainen he would have scored, but he put it right at the keeper. Immediately from that chance Morrison had an effort on the break, but put it wide when he should have scored.
Well it's half time and it's goalless, but in truth the away side probably deserve to be leading. The hosts have had a huge amount of possession, but have been toothless in the final third. West Ham have really managed to ramp up the pressure at times.
There will be two minutes added on at the end of the first half. It's been a good one so far, just lacking a goal.
BOOKING: Morrison is the next player booked for clattering into Michu as the Spaniard looked to break. He has no complains at being shown the yellow, and Michu has taken a battering so far.
Good covering by Tomkins there after Deme's tackle on Routledge almost fell to Michu. Can either side muster the big chance to get ahead at the break? It would be a brilliant time to score if they could...
Noble with a good ball to Nolan, but Swansea are now pressing really well and are finishing the half on top. Jarvis has not yet seen anything of the ball, but his first act is to win a tackle against Rangel wide on the right.
WEST HAM SUB: On does come Jarvis then and that will be a blow for West Ham, who have lost a key player in Vaz Te.
Swansea seem to have ridden the pressure from a few minutes ago. Noble is back off the pitch and won't be able to continue: Matt Jarvis is warming up ready to come on. Demel has really been good against Routledge.
It has become quite end-to-end, with Swansea looking to break with Dyer trying a cross-field ball to Routledge, but it skids off the wet grass and out of play for a throw.
Pressure here for West Ham. Vorm punches reasonably well from a corner, but it's passed to Downing who wins another one with his effort. They have some big players in the box but Morrison hits it on the bounce and it hits one of a number of bodies and wide again.
BOOKING: First yellow of the game goes to Demel, who caught Michu from behind as he passed to Alvaro on a break. He knew what he was doing there, I suspect.
OFF THE LINE: Vorm shows his range of passing there as West Ham close down the short passes so he pings one to De Guzman 40 yards away. There is still a real lack of penetration from Swansea, as Vorm is beaten in the air by Vaz Te but Rangel hacks a certain goal off the line.
Routledge goes in with Noble and catches the West Ham man. It was a 50-50 that Noble just won and Routledge meant no harm with that. Noble is struggling, though, with the physios on to help him.
SAVE: Jaaskelainen makes a stop but he knew nothing about that from Williams's header from a corner. It just hit him and from it West Ham broke with Morrison having the chance but putting it wide.
Swansea have had 71% of the early possession, but West Ham's stability means that they have not done anything with it as yet. They finally work a move as Michu players Routledge down the left, but his cross is well turned behind by Tomkins.
Swansea come forward and Jussi Jaaskelainen takes no chances beating Michu to the ball and hacks it clear. West Ham, in particular Diame, are defending really well at the moment and Swansea are struggling for their rhythm.
SHOT: Another effort from the visitors and it's Downing again. He's once more allowed to shoot on his left foot, but this time it's straight at Vorm who holds on well.
SAVE: Good stop from Vorm, the first of the game. Stewart Downing cut inside on to his stronger foot and shot low, but the keeper is down to save. From the corner Guy Demel rises highest but can only put his header over. Good from West Ham.
Swansea have started with some good possession, as expected, but there has not been a chance either way just yet. West Ham are working hard to keep their shape off the ball.
It's a good atmosphere here at the Liberty, which should help Laudrup's men. The players are out and we're nearly set for the start.
Just 10 minutes to go until kickoff then. A reminder that there are two other Premier League games as well this afternoon: Chelsea vs. Manchester City and Spurs vs. Hull City. We have commentaries of both of those also.
They have also won just four games away to Swansea in the league, with 14 defeats. However, they have been very good defensively away from Upton Park recently and have conceded just the one in four matches. It's tough to call, but despite the average of more than 3.5 goals between these two I think Swansea will edge it either 2-1 or 1-0.
Sam Allardyce's team have not won consecutive games away from home since 2007 - it does look a big ask for them here if they are to stop that record.
Interestingly, West Ham were the first opponents at the Liberty Stadium last season and were undone by Michu who scored in a 3-0 win. The hosts will want more of the same tonight.
The odds for this one do suggest that the Hammers will have a tough time tonight. Although they have not won too often at home Swansea have still been solid. To back the Swans you will get 3/4, while West Ham are much further back at around 9/2.
The Hammers will certainly need to be on their toes with the attacking trio in behind Alvaro of Michu, Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge. However, they have a very combative midfield with Mohamed Diame and Kevin Nolan in there. It could be a key area of the pitch this afternoon.
So Alvaro Vazquez is handed a start up front as Wilfried Bony is named on the bench. Michael Laudrup might see that the West Ham defence is good in the air, but perhaps weak to the trickery of the Spaniard.
WEST HAM XI: Jaaskelainen; Demel, Reid, Tomkins, Rat; Diame, Noble; Nolan, Morrison, Downing; Vaz Te
SWANSEA XI: Vorm; Rangel, Chico, Williams, Taylor; Britton, de Guzman; Michu, Dyer, Routledge; Alvaro
Before Swansea's 4-0 demolition of Sunderland last weekend was their first home win for nine games and in truth they should have a very good chance of adding another this afternoon. It is consistency that they have lacked so far.
Combined these two sides have won just five times from 16 attempts this season, with Swansea looking for their first back-to-back league wins all year. West Ham beat Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane two games ago, but that was their only victory in six.
Both sides could move into the top half with a win today, West Ham on goal difference to 10th and Swansea would go above Newcastle United into ninth. Certainly both sides need to start winning.
