West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has said that goalkeeper Robert Green is ready to play for England again.
The 31-year-old has been out of favour since his blunder against the USA at last year's World Cup.
Green allowed Clint Dempsey's tame shot to slip through his hands which earned the Americans a 1-1 draw in their group game.
The shotstopper has recently recovered from a knee injury and Allardyce believes that he will be a better player if selected for the national side.
"England will see a different Robert Green," he said. "The mental side of recovering from the injury is that he feels so much better.
"Instead of coming back wary, he's come back better than he went in. He's right back at his highest level."
