West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has hinted that Sam Allardyce will stay on as manager of the Premier League club.
The 59-year-old is said to have had a meeting with the club's hierarchy on Tuesday to discuss his future.
Allardyce, who finished the season with the team 13th in the table, was targeted by a number of disgruntled fans throughout the campaign.
However, Gold hinted that Allardyce will stay put when he responded to a fan on Twitter, who claimed that the club won't win silverware with the ex-Bolton Wanderers boss at the helm.
Allardyce was appointed West Ham boss in 2011.
