West Ham United midfielder Joe Cole has revealed that he expects a response from the team when they face Swansea City in the Premier League later today (Sunday).
The Hammers go into the match at the Liberty Stadium on the back of a 3-1 defeat at home to Manchester City last weekend.
Despite that setback, Cole believes that the squad has done enough preparation to get a result against the Swans.
"We, as a team, have looked at the Manchester City game and reviewed it," the 31-year-old told the club's official website. "We have looked at what went wrong and the positives, we know we want to make sure we are playing better all over the park when we face Swansea and go from there.
"I feel we are travelling on the right path and are in a really strong position to look to keep moving forward."
West Ham are currently in 16th place in the Premier League table.
