West Ham United winger Matt Jarvis has admitted that he is desperate to return to full fitness after missing the start of the season.
The 28-year-old has been out of action since suffering a thigh injury during the club's pre-season schedule.
Jarvis now hopes to be back in contention sooner rather than later as the 11th-placed Hammers look to climb up the Premier League table.
"I was very frustrated to pick up the injury, so yeah I really want to get back, work hard and try and get back in the team," he told the club's official website.
"I'm gutted I'm injured, I can't believe it. I did all pre-season and then missed all the games. I'm really looking forward to getting back."
West Ham continue their Premier League campaign on September 15 when they make the trip to Hull City.
