Bristol City have reportedly taken a step closer to completing a deal to sign Sam Baldock from West Ham United.
The two clubs are believed to have agreed a fee earlier this month and the forward is now expected to sign a contract with the Robins.
Sky Sports News have reported that Charlton were also interested in signing the 23-year-old but that he has decided to move to Ashton Gate.
Baldock joined the Hammers last summer and despite beginning life at the club well, he soon fell out of favour with manager Sam Allardyce.
Bristol City have recently been linked with a bid for DJ Campbell.
