West Ham United defender Emanuel Pogatetz has expressed his desire to secure a permanent stay at the club.
The 30-year-old moved to Upton Park on loan from Wolfsburg towards the end of January and made his Hammers debut during their 1-0 win over Swansea City at the beginning of February.
The Austrian admits that he would love to impress enough during his loan move to join the club on a full-time basis.
"It is brilliant to be here. The pace of the game, the crowd and also the group of lads and how we go about things," said Pogatetz.
"I will try my best and hopefully I will be able to stay a little bit longer than
just four months, we will see how it works at the end of the season.
"We have targets and hopefully I can achieve mine personally as well."
