Wigan Athletic have signed their eighth player of the summer with the addition of Will Grigg from Brentford.
The striker, 24, has signed a three-year contract after the Latics agreed an undisclosed fee with the Bees.
"Will is the one we were after, he's a goalscorer, that's what he does and why we've signed him," Wigan boss Gary Caldwell told the club website.
"There were other clubs in the chase, including from the Championship, but he's chosen to come to and we are very happy about it.
"He's a proven goalscorer at League One level, and had a superb season last year on loan with MK Dons so he knows this division and is a real quality addition."
Grigg, who represents Northern Ireland at international level, did not play for Brentford last season, scoring 22 goals in 50 appearances for MK to help them gain automatic promotion to the Championship.
