Wolfsburg cruise to a 4-0 victory over Arminia Bielefeld to set up a DFB-Pokal final with Borussia Dortmund.

Wolfsburg have reached the final of the DFB-Pokal by beating second-tier side Arminia Bielefeld 4-0 at the Bielefelder Alm.

Dieter Hecking's team will take on Borussia Dortmund, who clinched a penalty shootout victory over Bayern Munich on Tuesday to earn their spot in the final.

It was the perfect start for the visitors as they broke the deadlock inside eight minutes thanks to Maximilian Arnold, who found the space to collect a pass from Daniel Caligiuri before firing home.

Bielefeld struggled to pose a threat at the other end, and Wolfsburg took a 2-0 lead into the break after Luis Gustavo had tapped home from Bas Dost's header across goal.

Wolfsburg needed just seven second-half minutes to extend their advantage as Caligiuri split the home defence once again, and Ivan Perisic benefited from his latest pass to slide the ball home.

Caligiuri and Arnold continued to cause the hosts problems, and the latter helped himself to a second goal by finishing calmly after Alexander Schwolow had saved his first effort.

Bielefeld had the chance to reduce the deficit when Manuel Hornig was gifted space on the edge of the box, but Diego Benaglio reacted well to make a comfortable low save.

However, the evening belonged to Wolfsburg as they cruised to a place in the final for the first time since 1995.
