Wolverhampton Wanderers chief executive Jez Moxey has dismissed claims that the club will be forced to sell their key players this summer.
Matt Jarvis and Steven Fletcher have been linked with moves away from Molineux after the club were relegated to the Championship but Moxey has revealed that he will not be held to ransom by interested parties.
Moxey told the Express & Star: "Because of the strict fiscal policies we have implemented over the years, we're in a strong position to call the shots and not for someone else to call them because of third-party pressures.
"We have not got a third-party club saying, 'we know you are in the mire - we will help you by buying so-and-so but, obviously, at a discount rate'.
"None of that will be happening here because of the clear strategy we have put in place. Nobody will leave this football club unless it's at the right price for Wolves."
Wolves finished bottom of the Premier League last season and were 12 points away from safety.
