Adam Scott has revealed that he is looking to take his momentum from day three into the final round of the Masters.

The Australian ended with three birdies in his last six holes to finish the day one shot off the lead at Augusta.

Scott thinks that he can carry that form into tomorrow's play and hopes that he comes out on top of the three Australians who are in contention.

"It is really satisfying coming in after a round like that," Scott told BBC Sport.

"No-one really caught fire today, there were a lot of guys jockeying for places. I slowly crept up with a solid back nine and hopefully I can take the momentum into tomorrow.

"This course has the ability to make [special] things happen and hopefully it happens for me tomorrow. It's great to have three Aussies so close to the lead, but obviously I hope I come out on top."

Scott will be in the penultimate pair tomorrow with fellow Australian Marc Leishman.
