AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani believes that his new socks brought his club victory in the Champions League last night.
The Serie A outfit gave themselves a chance to qualify for the knockout rounds of the Champions League after securing a 3-0 win over Celtic in Scotland.
Instead of praising Milan's display on the pitch, Galliani has given credit to his new black and red striped socks.
According to 101greatgoals.com, Galliani told an Italian television station: "I tried a new a match ritual tonight - wearing red and black socks. I bought them a few days ago and they brought good luck."
Milan need to draw at home against Ajax in order to progress into the next phase.
