Brazil legend Pele has turned down the chance to take part in the World Cup draw in his homeland tomorrow.
The 73-year-old has revealed that he rejected the offer due to fears that he could place Brazil in a difficult group for the tournament hosts.
"President Dilma suggested that I represent Brazil when it came to pulling the balls out of the pots, which I've done several times before," the Daily Mail quotes Pele as saying.
"I preferred to turn down the offer because I wouldn't feel comfortable in picking out balls which are not favourable to Brazil."
Despite turning down the opportunity, Pele will be part of the audience tomorrow.
