Michael Owen will reportedly become part of the punditry team for this week's Champions League coverage on Al Jazeera's beIN Sport.
The retired footballer, who is a regular commentator for BT Sport, is believed to be making the temporary move as part of an exchange between the two networks involving Andy Gray.
According to the Daily Mail, Owen, who ended his playing career at the end of last season, will be added to the panel alongside Kevin Keegan and David Platt.
Gray, who was sacked by Sky Sports in 2011 following sexist remarks, has commentated on a number of FA Cup games for BT.
