Italy striker Alberto Gilardino has become the talk of social networking websites after he displayed what appeared to be a Peppa Pig tattoo on his arm.
A photograph published by Gazzetta dello Sport on Sunday showed the pink cartoon character inked on the inside of Gilardino's biceps.
According to the Daily Mail, reports have claimed that the 31-year-old decided to get the design as a dedication to his three daughters.
The tattoo was spotted during Italy's victory over Bulgaria, where Gilardino scored the only goal during the World Cup qualifier on Friday.
