Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has poked fun at Rio Ferdinand's vocabulary after the ex-Manchester United defender complained about the scouser's accent in his autobiography.
A sports journalist typed up a brief line from Ferdinand's book #2 sides on Twitter, joking that Carragher needed a translator because of his strong Liverpudlian accent.
In response to the tweet, Carragher took to social media to claim that he also struggled to understand his former England teammate, who now plays for Queens Park Rangers.
After retiring from playing last year, Carragher took up a role as a Sky Sports football pundit alongside ex-United captain Gary Neville.
