Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has entered a not-guilty plea after being accused of holding an excessively loud house party in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles during the summer.
Just eight days before finalising a £75m move from Everton to Old Trafford, the Belgium international was arrested for allegedly disturbing the peace.
It is believed that the 24-year-old, who has scored 10 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils this season, received five verbal warnings from police across five days while renting a mansion in Beverly Hills in July.
The striker did not attend the court hearing, but denied the charge via his lawyer Robert Humphreys.
Lukaku has been ordered to appear at Los Angeles Airport Courthouse on November 21.
