Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville mocked Liverpool after a rival fan hit out at the retired footballer's decision to force Jamie Carragher into wearing a Red Devils shirt.
Neville, who works alongside the ex-Liverpool defender for Sky Sports, tweeted that Carragher lost a bet after backing Tottenham Hotspur's Paulinho to score 15 Premier League goals in a season.
One Twitter user wrote to Carragher saying: "Don't even dare put that sh*t stained rag on Carra...you'll catch all manner of diseases!!"
Neville jumped on his comment by tweeting: "Worth a try he might catch that disease called " Winning" and spread it through your lot!"
