Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium remains off-limits after a controlled explosion took place this afternoon.
Man United were due to welcome Bournemouth on the final weekend of the Premier League season, but a 'suspect package', later reported to be a mobile phone device, forced the game to be abandoned.
The Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that a controlled explosion has taken place, but the stadium itself is still off-limits to stewards in the surrounding area and staff of Man United.
It is understood that a staff member found a mobile phone device attached to a toilet inside the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand in the build-up to kickoff earlier this afternoon.
The players have also now left the stadium after initially remaining inside a secure location.
