A number of Premier League clubs are reportedly involved in tax avoidance schemes, despite making millions every year.
It is believed that clubs in the top flight of English football regularly make over £150m a year but pay just £3m corporation tax due to a legal scheme.
Labour MP and former sports minister Gerry Sutcliffe told The Independent: "Even though this isn't illegal, it's not right. I will be raising this issue with the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee this week, as a matter of urgency."
A report into the accounts has claimed that the profit made by the clubs comes from a turnover of around £2.2 billion a year.
