Los Angeles Galaxy winger Robbie Rogers has reportedly inspired television bosses to create a comedy series based on the footballer's life.
The 27-year-old made headlines back in February last year when he revealed that he is gay, causing him to retire before returning to the game with LA Galaxy.
According to deadline.com, Universal Television has optioned the rights for Craig Zadan and Neil Meron's Storyline Entertainment to create a comedy series based on the sportsman's life.
Reports have claimed that Rogers, who previously played for Leeds United, will serve as a producer on the show, while Zadan and Meron will be executive producers.
