Michael Schumacher's wife Corinna has revealed that life is 'slowly getting better' for the Formula 1 legend seven months after he suffered serious head injuries in a skiing accident.
The seven-time world champion's management confirmed last month that the 45-year-old is no longer in a coma and has left the Grenoble hospital where he was being treated following the accident on December 29.
Schumacher was placed in a medically-induced coma after he hit his head on a rock while skiing off-piste in the French Alps.
Corinna told magazine Neue Post: "It's getting better, slowly certainly, but in any case it's improving."
Schumacher is now in a separate facility to continue his rehabilitation.
