Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has offered to buy a supporter a season ticket after the fan wrote him a message on Twitter.
The supporter, who goes by the name of Jay Mills on the social networking website, told Fernandes that he would be unable to afford to watch his team in the Championship next season.
He wrote: "still can't afford one, but very pleased with the new season ticket prices @tonyfernandes - you are the best thing about the club right now".
Fernandes responded by tweeted: "I will buy you a season ticket as an advanced Xmas present. Give me your email."
The West London outfit dropped out of the Premier League following a goalless draw with Reading a fortnight ago.
