Eufemiano Fuentes, the doctor at the centre of the Operation Puerto blood-doping trial in Spain, has said that Real Madrid owes him money.
Speaking to Spanish radio, the doctor is reported to have said that he is "interested in collecting on a debt from Real Madrid".
The debt is reportedly nothing to do with Operation Puerto, however.
The club will make a statement on the matter if it feels that it is necessary, according to The AP.
Operation Puerto has so far only implicated cyclists.
