Roma star Francesco Totti has suggested that he pre-planned his selfie goal celebration a week in advance.
The 38-year-old salvaged a 2-2 draw with Lazio by finding the back of the net twice after his team went 2-0 down at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.
After scoring his second, he celebrated in front of the fans before taking a photo of himself with a phone handed to him by a member of the Roma coaching staff.
"I thought about it during the week," the Daily Star quotes Totti as saying. "Although it's in fashion, I don't usually take them because I want my private life to stay that way, but this was a special occasion, something to be remembered for a long time."
Totti, who has only ever played for Roma, made his senior debut in 1992.
