Sevilla clinched the Europa League trophy on penalties over Benfica last week, but a certain celebration between Ivan Rakitic and Daniel Carrico appears to have made numerous headlines.

The pair were parading the trophy around the stadium in Turin when they were spotted on camera kissing on the lips for several seconds before continuing their celebrations.

The contest was eventually won by Sevilla as they edged the penalty shootout 4-2 to take the crown following a goalless draw after 90 minutes and extra time.

Since the kiss was televised, numerous videos have emerged on YouTube, while it has been a topic of conversation across social media.
