West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino is due to appear in court later this month on a charge of drink-driving.
The 21-year-old was arrested by Cheshire police after he was stopped for driving at "high speed" near junction 20 of the Southbound M6 in the early hours of October 22.
According to BBC News, the England Under-21 international will appear at North Cheshire Magistrates' Court in Runcorn on January 19.
The youngster has been linked to numerous Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, in recent weeks.
