Castleford Tigers full-back Luke Dorn has admitted that he felt the opportunity to win a major trophy had passed him by.

The 32-year-old, who rejoined the Tigers earlier this year following a stint at the club in 2008, is now within touching distance of winning the Challenge Cup, with Widnes Vikings next up in the semi-finals this weekend.

"I well and truly thought all my chances had disappeared," the Daily Star quotes Dorn as saying. "I am absolutely buzzing to have a serious game like this after all the years I've been here."

Castleford currently lie in third place in the Super League table.
