Castleford Tigers have returned to winning ways with a last-gasp 14-10 victory over Salford Red Devils at Wheldon Road.
The first try of the contest came just short of the half-hour mark when Justin Carney crossed over to give the Glass Blowers the lead, leaving Marc Sneyd to kick over for the extras.
Sneyd extended his side's advantage after 58 minutes as he kicked over once more to make it 8-0 to the hosts.
Junior Sau gave Salford a foothold in the Super League clash five minutes later when he found the try line to give the Reds real hope.
With eight minutes remaining Gareth Hock added the third try of the night for the visiting side, with Rangi Chase kicking through the sticks to put Salford ahead late on.
But Jake Webster's try in the 80th minute, which Sneyd again successfully converted, ensured that the Tigers bounced back from successive defeats in dramatic fashion.
