Castleford Tigers have closed the gap on the teams above them in the Super League by thrashing London Broncos 54-6 on Thursday night.
The visitors were dominant from the first whistle, Michael Channing scoring the first try in the 11th minute of the match.
Jamie Ellis, who made all nine of his attempted kicks on the night, added a conversion for Channing's try, while also contributing extra points following further tries from Oliver Holmes, Michael Shenton and Liam Finn before the break.
The onslaught continued at the start of the second half Craig Huby added a sixth try, which was quickly followed by Justin Carney's first of the evening in the 52nd minute.
Luke Dorn's converted try made it 42-0 to the Tigers, before Carney and Shenton both went over for their second scores of the match.
The Broncos finally managed to get on the scoreboard in the 78th minute thanks to Mike McMeeken's consolation try, but it proved to be little consolation on a difficult evening for the hosts at Hive Stadium.
