Former England full-back Shaun Briscoe has been appointed to the backroom staff of Super League side Hull Kingston Rovers.
Briscoe will be involved in youth development at the club, working closely with head of youth Pete Grayburn as well as acting as the Under-19s assistant coach.
The 30-year-old, who played 100 games for the Rovers during a three-year stint there between 2008 and 2011, was delighted at being given the opportunity to remain in the sport from which he only recently retired.
"I was thrilled to be offered this role and I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into the next period of my career," Briscoe told PA.
"Rugby League is in my blood and it's great that I will have the chance to stay in the game I love."
Briscoe also played for Wigan Warriors, Hull FC and Widnes in his 11-year career, as well as winning five caps for England.
