Hull Kingston Rovers bagged their second victory of the Super League season with an emphatic 44-6 win over Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at Craven Park today.
Neville Costigan and Omari Caro helped Hull into a 10-0 lead inside 13 minutes, with Travis Burns adding one of the conversions.
Burns, who fired six conversions in total, then added further two-point scores as Josh Hodgson and Kris Welham touched down to give Kingston Rovers a commanding 22-0 half-time advantage.
The momentum of Craig Sandercock's charges did not subside after the interval as Caro and Hodgson crossed for their double either side of a Kris Keating try to open up a 38-point gap.
Welham followed suit and secured his second of the afternoon on 71 minutes, before the travelling Wildcat supporters were given something to cheer by a converted try from Pita Godinet late on.
