Larne Patrick touched down for two second-half tries as Huddersfield Giants beat Hull Kingston Rovers 26-22 at Craven Park tonight.
Paul Anderson's team were forced to come from behind on three occasions throughout the first half, as Leroy Cudjoe, Ukuma Ta'ai and Eorl Crabtree all crossed over for the Giants after David Hodgson, Kris Welham and Ade Gardner had briefly put the hosts ahead.
Travis Burns fired a penalty to ensure that both sides went into the interval level, but Huddersfield emerged from the break positively and Patrick bagged his first of the evening on 55 minutes to give Anderson's troops a four-point lead.
However, the second-rower was on hand to extend the lead 12 minutes later, with Danny Brough adding the extras to give Craig Sandercock's side a 10-point deficit to chase.
Hodgson picked up his second of the contest in the closing stages before Burns closed the gap to four with a conversion, but the visitors held on for the win.
