Hull FC boss Lee Radford has praised his players following their 31-24 triumph over Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, while reserving special words for Jack Logan and Gareth Ellis.
The Black and Whites propelled themselves to victory in the second half at the KC Stadium to move up to eighth place in the Super League table.
Logan produced the goods on what was just his third appearance for the club by crossing over twice, and skipper Ellis was able to shake off an ankle injury to put in a man-of-the-match display.
"There were a couple of special performances today," Radford told the club's official website. "I thought Jack Logan was outstanding for us and the energy that he played with was top-drawer.
"Gareth Ellis got ruled out for 4-6 weeks on Thursday and then I'm playing golf one evening and he texts me saying 'don't rule me out'. He did a late fitness test and then put on a real show."
Hull return to action in a week's time when they take on Castleford Tigers.
