Wakefield Trinity Wildcats recorded an emphatic 28-0 win over London Broncos in the Super League this afternoon.
The visitors made a quick start to the match, Ben Cockayne scoring a try inside the opening two minutes.
Wildcats looked the stronger of the two sides for the remainder of the first half, but some solid defensive play from Broncos kept them in the game.
Paul Sykes added a penalty at the start of the second half to open up an eight-point lead for Wakefield.
Wakefield continued to apply pressure, eventually adding to their early try with a further effort from Cockayne, as well as tries from Danny Kirmond and Peter Fox.
The hosts pushed hard as they tried to get on the scoreboard late in the game, but it was Richie Mathers who added the final points with the fifth try for Wildcats.
