Huddersfield Giants have hammered St Helens at Langtree Park by a score of 40-4.
Jermaine McGillvary went over after just three minutes for the first score, with Danny Brough kicking the extras.
On 10 minutes Giants doubled their advantage with Brough converting a try from Brett Ferres.
There was one more try from Leroy Cudjoe and two penalties kicked by Brough in the opening 40 minutes with Huddersfield going into the break 22-0 up.
The second period was equally one-way traffic, with Luke George and Larne Patrick bagging tries inside 15 minutes of the restart, the latter converted by Scott Grix.
Two more unconverted tries went the Giants way through Shaun Lunt and Cudjoe, before St Helens finally got on the board with five minutes left - Mark Flanagan getting over the line.
That was to be the end of the scoring as Huddersfield ran out 40-4 victors.
